Who we are
OTA Lifestyle (“OTA”, “we”, “us”) runs fitness, wellness and community events in Manchester, United Kingdom, and operates this website. This policy explains what information we collect through the site, why, and the choices you have. Questions about it can be sent through the contact page.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us:
- Enquiries. When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, phone number and message so we can reply or call you back about your enquiry.
- Team applications. If you apply to join the OTA team we receive your name, contact details, LinkedIn profile, CV, cover letter and answers, plus your confirmation of the right to work in the UK. CVs are stored privately and only the OTA team can open them. We keep applications for up to 12 months so we can come back to you when a role opens, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Event updates list. If you sign up to hear about an event, we store your first name and email address, plus your surname, phone number and Instagram if you choose to give them. We also record whether you ticked the box to hear about future events and offers, and when.
- Usage information. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand page visits in aggregate. We also count page views and taps on ticket links per event, along with the channel you arrived from (for example Instagram or a shared link) and whether you were on a phone or a computer. None of this identifies you personally.
What we do with it
- Reply to your enquiry.
- Send you updates about the event you signed up for.
- Only if you ticked the box: tell you about future OTA events, early access and offers by email. We never send texts. You can opt out at any time by replying to any message or using the contact page, and we will remove you straight away.
- Understand which events and channels people respond to.
We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything unrelated to OTA events.
Where it lives
Enquiries and email signups are stored securely with Supabase, our database provider. The website is hosted by Vercel. Both providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Ticket bookings
Ticket purchases are completed on external platforms such as Eventbrite. Payment details never pass through this website, and the booking platform's own privacy policy applies to the checkout.
Cookies
The public website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The manager portal uses a strictly necessary cookie to keep authorised team members signed in.
How long we keep things
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with them. Event update signups are kept until you ask to be removed. Aggregate usage data holds no personal information.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, message us through the contact pageand we will act on it promptly. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
